SCIF: Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities
JE Dunn has a deep portfolio in Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs). We know the critical security elements that must be implemented during construction and the inspections that go along with the accreditation process.
Preserving inspired places to worship.
The most recognizable building at the US Air Force Academy and the most visited man-made tourist attraction in Colorado, the Air Force chapel is getting an upgrade. JE Dunn is blessed to begin work on the iconic building this year, with construction set to finish in 2022.
Fort Leavenworth Building 465 Renovation
Thanks to an extensive renovation, the once-vacant Building 465 on Fort Leavenworth is now home to the Army Management Staff College (AMSC), one of the most important training programs offered by the US Army. The project transformed the building into classroom space with enhanced technology to support the overall revitalization of the historic prison district, earning a Chief of Engineers Merit Award for the adaptive renovation and preservation of the historic space.
Experts in military construction.
JE Dunn has been in a Design-Build, Initial Outfitting (DBIO) Medical MATOC with the USACE Little Rock District for the past 10 years, designing and constructing medical facilities at military installations throughout the United States. This experience helps us to understand specific missions at each installation regarding healthcare delivery and has given us the opportunity to develop procedures and processes to ensure the Government’s success on large-scale healthcare work. Within this program, we have designed and built over $730M of military healthcare projects at 14 air force and army bases around the country.

NREL Energy Systems Integration Facility

The Energy Systems Integration Facility (ESIF) on the campus of the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is the nation’s only facility that can conduct integrated megawatt-scale testing of the components and strategies needed in order to safely move clean energy technologies onto the electrical grid “in-flight” at the speed and scale required to meet federal policy.

GSA DOE National Nuclear Security

JE Dunn completed the 185-acre campus in south Kansas City, Missouri. This developer led, design-build, LEED Gold project consists of three manufacturing, one data center and one office building totaling over 1.5 million square feet situated on a secure campus.
